National Energy Industry Representatives to Converge in Austin For Clean Carbon Policy Summit

Join key energy industry leaders and government officials at the 6th Annual Clean Carbon Summit, as they present an in-depth look at the policy and technology issues around Texas’ critical electricity needs through clean carbon technology innovation.

The Clean Coal Technology Foundation of Texas hosts the Clean Carbon Summit each year as a forum for discussion and analysis by energy industry stakeholders of clean carbon advancements in Texas and nationwide. Topics at this year’s Summit will include the use of offshore carbon repositories; Texas’ awarded research and development grants; and the future of coal as a clean, affordable, versatile and abundant resource.

Who:
This year’s keynote speaker will be Texas Governor Rick Perry. Other speakers include key lawmakers, researchers and industry executives, such as Texas State Representatives Burt Solomons and Mark Strama; TCEQ Chairman Dr. Bryan Shaw; PUC Commissioner Kenneth Anderson; and State Comptroller Susan Combs, who will provide a preview of the 2010 Supplement to the Texas Energy Report. Representatives will also be present from every member organization of the Clean Coal Technology Foundation of Texas, each a leader on the national energy landscape.
